We opened The Farmyard Children's Store in 1994 on a little shopping parade at the top of Richmond Hill, known as Richmond Village. We wanted to bring together a unique range of traditional toys and original gifts for children and babies. In 1999 we opened our second branch in Barnes, just near Barnes pond (see 'shop locations').

We have also created a range of hand painted gifts and furniture which are exclusive to The Farmyard and are constantly being updated to bring you fresh and unique gift ideas. Our Richmond branch is a larger shop and houses our larger items of children's furniture like toyboxes, beds, desks and chairs.

Most of our hand-painted products and furniture are made in England. We love our work and care about the quality, so we work closely with a studio who help us to develop the designs and colours we use. Many of our items can be personalised with a name and birth or christening date - making them a special and individual gift.

We have included some of best sellers on our website, but to see our ever changing ranges, come and visit us at either of our shops in Richmond or in Barnes.
